April's headliner is an absolute legend!

MATT PRICE has worked in a fish factory, trained as a boxer and worked as a ghost writer for some of Britain’s most notorious gangsters. He has some of the most extraordinary and outrageous stories drawn from the wilder side of life. And yet this self-effacing Cornish-born comic brings warmth and heart to his tales, finding hilarity in the most unexpected places and interacting with audiences in a way that makes everyone in the room feel great.

Matt's easy going charm has made him a favourite on the UK and international circuits from Penzance to Cambodia via five tours of Australia and 15 Edinburgh Festivals!

He has provided national tour support for the likes of Larry Dean, Stephen K Amos and Norman Lovett.

'...a terrific comedian and wonderful storyteller….' Kate Copstick, The Scotsman

'Price doesn’t skimp on the laughs. And when the laughs do come, they tend to be big, explosive ones...' Steve Bennett, Chortle

'…straight from the heart...a truly incisive comic brain.' South Wales Echo

Opening on the night:

LOVEDEV BARPAGA is a Brum-based UK Pun Champion and the ultimate feel-good comic who plies a rich trade in hilarious one-liners. Everybody loves Lovdev - he's a right charmer who laughs as much throughout his set as the audience does.

Lovdev has provided tour support for the likes of Jo Enright, Joe Lycett, Simon Brodkin and Darren Harriott.

'The 21st Century Asian Ken Goodwin...a feelgood comedian in the finest tradition.' Chortle

'One of the most brilliant daft comics you will ever see,' Joe Lycett

'Totally hilarious...effortlessly funny'. Jo Enright

'A hurricane of one-liners.' Three Weeks

'...the kind of effortless likeability that is unique in the comedy world. Entire crowds seem to fall in love with him...as much for his incredible humour as for his undeniable charm.' LOL Comedy Club

In the middle:

DAWN BAILEY is fast becoming one of the most sought after acts on the circuit. One of the hardest working acts around, she is known for her honest, relatable humor and down-to-earth comedic style.

Drawing from her own life experiences, Dawn's hilarious pin-sharp straight-to-the-point observations make her a crowd favourite, and saw her win the XS Manchester Radio Comedian of the Year Award.

Dawn's fanbase is growing rapidly and you are about to find out why!

'A very funny lady.' the BBC
