April's headliner is an absolute legend!
MATT PRICE has worked in a fish factory, trained as a boxer and worked as a ghost writer for some of Britain’s most notorious gangsters. He has some of the most extraordinary and outrageous stories drawn from the wilder side of life. And yet this self-effacing Cornish-born comic brings warmth and heart to his tales, finding hilarity in the most unexpected places and interacting with audiences in a way that makes everyone in the room feel great.
Matt's easy going charm has made him a favourite on the UK and international circuits from Penzance to Cambodia via five tours of Australia and 15 Edinburgh Festivals!
He has provided national tour support for the likes of Larry Dean, Stephen K Amos and Norman Lovett.
'...a terrific comedian and wonderful storyteller….' Kate Copstick, The Scotsman
'Price doesn’t skimp on the laughs. And when the laughs do come, they tend to be big, explosive ones...' Steve Bennett, Chortle

Opening on the night:
LOVEDEV BARPAGA is a Brum-based UK Pun Champion and the ultimate feel-good comic who plies a rich trade in hilarious one-liners. Everybody loves Lovdev - he's a right charmer who laughs as much throughout his set as the audience does.

In the middle:
DAWN BAILEY is fast becoming one of the most sought after acts on the circuit. One of the hardest working acts around, she is known for her honest, relatable humor and down-to-earth comedic style.
Drawing from her own life experiences, Dawn's hilarious pin-sharp straight-to-the-point observations make her a crowd favourite, and saw her win the XS Manchester Radio Comedian of the Year Award.

Braughing Jamboree Bag
A Braughing Bran Tub...
The Braughing Jamboree Bag is a night of comedy and variety where you never know quite what you’re going to get. It could be a big name that you've seen on the TV or paid £40 to see in the theatre. It may be a complete unknown who's on the way up. It might be stand up, magic, music or madness. You're taking a lucky dip into modern variety.
Each show will have a host compere to guide you through the night and feature at least three different acts. You may not like them all, but the odds are in your favour. The aim is to have a fun night in an intimate venue and be entertained by professional performers. Keep your eyes peeled on the website for updates of who's on when.
As many of you have found out, it's important to book early for shows to avoid disappointment. I've got quite a few very special guests lined up for future events - some of which I have to keep quiet about. I'll drop hints now and then via our Facebook page (Braughing Jamboree Bag). In the meantime, we hope to see you soon.

Initially recognized for his one-liners and hailed as the 21st Century Asian Ken Goodwin, Lovdev possesses a distinctive storytelling ability like no other.
